![]() "Monitoring and imaging volcano" Thematic sessions are as follows: - Integrated monitoring - Imaging the inside of volcanoes - Remote sensing of volcanoes - Quantitative Volcano Seismology - Integrated Electromagnetic monitoring and EM tomography of volcanoes (8e) - Geophysical and modelling constraints on the relationship of subduction to arc magmatism The details of EMSEV related sesson are as follows: Integrated Electromagnetic monitoring and EM tomography of volcanoes Magnetic, electric and electromagnetic methods are now intensively applied to image volcanic structures and to monitor the activity. Outstanding results are obtained but each of them still appear isolated and the lack of multi-parametric approaches do not allow to develop realistic models.
